House & Table Church?

What is a house or table church?

A house or church is a small gathering of The Garden Church. House churches gather in homes, while table churches gather in “third places” like coffee shops or community buildings. House and table churches are the primary settings for worship and discipleship making them the best way to get to know The Garden. Each house church is cared for by its own house church pastor.

What if I don’t know anything about the Bible or church?

House church is designed for everyone no matter how familiar you are with the Bible or church. We all learn as we go. You will not need to pray or read aloud if you do not choose to.

What is a house church like?

Each house church begins by sharing a meal or some snacks. After a little while we shift our focus to the Bible passage shared at the large Sunday gathering. We discuss what the passage reveals about God and ourselves and how we can put into practice what we learned over the upcoming week. We also have some form of simple worship that may or may not include music.
